Sharp Rise in International Students wanting to Study Economics & Business at UvA

Explosion of first-year economics and business administration by international students.

Not only technical studies attract large numbers of international students, but also the influx of economics and business administration breaks records. The growth can largely be attributed to the popularity of the English-language courses.

At the UvA, there will be 1,800 first year students, compared with 840 in 2016, with around 40-50% of the new students coming from outside the Netherlands.
