S2Group Researchers receive JSS best paper award
Roberto Verdecchia (VU), Patricia Lago (VU), and Ivano Malavolta (VU), jointly with Philippe Kruchten (University of British Columbia), were awarded with the best paper award of the Journal of Systems and Software (JSS).
The research, titled “Building and evaluating a theory of architectural technical debt in software-intensive systems”, presents a theory of architectural techical debt, a software development phenomenon which causes losses in the order of millions to IT companies each year. The research was selected among the top 0.3% of all submissions.
