Humainer AI proposal awarded
“In HumainerAI we will address the challenge of trustworthy AI implementation. We focus on the impact of computational, governance related and behavioural aspects for the acceptance of AI by end users. We collaborate with the Belastingdienst and KPMG to test our research results in a use case related to the provisioning of VAT numbers.”
The project is a collaboration between IvI: dr. Paola Grosso (PI), prof. Tom van Engers (co-PI) and the Amsterdam Business School: prof. Marc Salomon (co-PI). Prof. Sander Klous and dr. Giovanni Sileno from IvI and dr. Andrea Weihrauch from ABS contributed to the preparation of the proposal and will continue to contribute to the actual research.
The total project budget (euros) is roughly around 650K, with 500K subsidy from NWO and the rest cash and in-kind from the partners (KPMG and Belastingdienst). The project will fund one postdoc at IvI and two PhDs (one fully at the ABS, one at IvI).
