Funding for joint UvA, VUA, KNAW, Elsevier project
Amsterdam Data Science enters into a new collaboration with Elsevier and KNAW. As part of the NWO Creative Industry program, NWO and Elsevier will jointly fund te Re-Search project, on searching research data sets. The project, led by Maarten de Rijke, is a collaboration between UvA’s Informatics Institute, the Department of Computer Science at the VU University Amsterdam (Frank van Harmelen), the eHumanities group and DANS at the KNAW (Andrea Scharnhorst, Sally Wyatt) and Elsevier (Paul Groth, Anita de Waard). With a budget of 750k, the Re-Search project will run for four years and employ three PhD students.
