Women in Data Science Netherlands

The theme for the first WiDS Netherlands event is Data Science and the Impact on Society. The event features talks from Sally Wyatt, Fleur Hasaart, Hinda Haned and Sujatha Subramanian and is organised by ADS, Maastricht University, JADS and Pipple.

Women in Data Science Netherlands is an independent conference organized by Pipple, Amsterdam Data Science and Maastricht University to coincide with the annual Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference held at Stanford University and an estimated 150+ locations worldwide. All genders are invited to attend WiDS regional events, which features inspiring women talking about their expertise and experiences within the field.

WiDS is about diversity and inclusion. About empowering people by appreciating what makes them different. Regardless of gender, ethnicity, age or sexual orientation. It aims to inspire and educate both data science students & professionals in the Netherlands.
