The AUAS/UvA Cyber-Challenge 2022
For gamers and ethical hackers-to-be.
Do you like gaming or puzzles or are you an ethical hacker-to-be? Then take part in the AUAS/UvA Cyber-Challenge 2022. Note: the first round already starts on 14 November and is open to students and employees. Bonus: winners can participate in the national SURF Capture The Flag event in December.
How are your hacking skills?
Would you like to put your hacking skills to the test and win some great prizes? Then register for the UVA/HVA Cyber Challenge 2022, and who knows, maybe you will soon be competing against other players from all over the Netherlands during the national SURF Capture the Flag in December.
What is the Cyber-Challenge?
During the AUAS/UvA Cyber-Challenge, a dedicated Capture the Flag event, you can learn new hacking techniques during challenging assignments. In these challenges, the aim is to collect as many well-hidden flags as possible, which earns you points. The player with the most points in the shortest possible time wins the challenge.
Why this Cyber Challenge?
The purpose of this event is to broaden knowledge and skills in security & hacking, as well as to become aware of security vulnerabilities in general. Moreover, we collectively build a community of people interested in the field of security & hacking. And who knows, you might amass eternal fame at the national level. Because the best participants (students and employees) of the AUAS/UvA Cyber-Challenge 2022 can -if they want to- represent the UvA and AUAS at the SURFnet CTF Challenge in December.
