With our fixed and mobile networks for telephony, data and television we serve customers at home and abroad. KPN focuses on both private customers and business users, from small to large. As Advanced Analytics department we want to provide the correct information, for the right purpose, at the right time to create value for our customers and our organization. We do so with 60 passionate and talented colleagues with PhD or Master education in for example Applied Math, Computer Science, Econometrics, Physics and Electronic Engineering. In this endeavor we apply lachine learning algorithms and evaluate the applicability of deep learning.
KPN methods are based on integrity and mutual trust. We nurture that by seeking connections outside of the organization and constantly talking to our stakeholders; such as private and business customers, investors, suppliers, authorities, watchdogs, social organizations and employees. This gives us good insight into social developments and needs. It also enables us to exchange ideas about the issues where we think KPN can make an important difference to Dutch society. We take the views of our stakeholders into account in our strategic decision making. In such context, we dedicate significant attention to the Data Ethics and Trustworthy AI policies currently being developed within the European Commission and actively participate to the initiatives they organize on that subject, such as the European AI Alliance.
