Dutch Applied AI Award
The Dutch Applied AI Award is one of the awards presented during the annual Computable Awards. Since 2020 the Centre of Expertise Applied AI together with Computable and the podcast De Dataloog reward an innovative initiative in the field of applied Artificial Intelligence.
The award is a jury award and not a public award. There are various reasons for this choice, such as wanting to minimise the influence of large companies with potentially many voters.
The jury – consisting of five experts in the field of Applied AI – chooses five initiatives from all entries that have a chance of winning the Dutch Applied AI Award. After a pitch round in De Dataloog, the jury decides on the winner. The five nominees will all get a platform to present themselves and their initiative in a broadcast of the well-aired podcast. The Dutch Applied AI Award is not only a prize, but also a prize of recognition!
