Data Science Day (Save the Date)

To mark the launch of the Data Science Centre DSC and celebrate all the data-driven research done at the UvA, the DSC is hosting a Data Science Day, it will include workshops, pitch presentations and an international keynote speaker. The event will take place at the Allard Pierson Museum.

-Morning Session-
The hope is for this session to take place in person at the Allard Pierson Museum.

9:00-13:00: Interactive Workshops
Four workshops will showcase the latest research being enhanced by data science across the UvA. The workshops are open to all UvA PhD students and employees. Lunch will be included. These will be ticketed events so watch out for more news soon to join us.

Highlights on how the UvA already supports data science activities and how you can implement this in your research.

15:45-16:30: Keynote
An international speaker will join us to explore how and why data science is an essential part of all research, no matter the field.
