CWI Celebrates its 75th Birthday

CWI is counting down to its 75th anniversary and kindly requests you to save the date, on 11 February 2021 they will celebrate their jubilee with a special online event.

The National Research Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science was founded in 1946, and has been the birthplace of numerous scientific breakthroughs. During the event they will look back on their most remarkable scientific achievements. They will also have different breakout sessions focusing on the future of AI and quantum computing, discussing questions such as; how do we deal with data in the future? And to what level of security can you make computers safe?

During the event, Jos Baeten, the former director of CWI will give his farewell speech, reflecting on his personal experiences with computers and computing research.
